After being awakened, the Alpha Ventauri team find themselves in a fugue state having flashbacks about what led them to be awakened.
The game starts with the player waking up in a cryogenic capsule. While in the chamber, players will see flashbacks of how they were woken up. The flashbacks start with the founder of Alpha Ventauri, then the assembling team. They then see the invention of the DittoMorph, exosuits, humanoids, and starships. The story goes through how they arrived on the planet, how they populated it, and how the entire city was built. It also shows The Elite’s deception and how they destroyed Alpha Ventauri’s dream.
The player then wakes up again in the unlocked cryo capsule and the cinematic ends.
