Cezero is a biotechnologist and founder of a tech company that was working on self-sufficient mechaorganisms capable of replicating. His company closed after a great economic crisis and the funding for his research was cut. Upon hearing about the Alpha Ventauri from his sister Oxima, he decided to join the team.

With the help of Coglox and the DittoMorph, not only did he manage to create these humanoids, but he was also able to mass-produce them. When Oxima created the DittoMorph suits, Cezero started working on technology for his own suit to project a transparent energy shield that could block any physical matter from passing through. He perfected this technology using it on the starship to protect it from debris during their travels.
